Nothing to write. Just the pic from our balcony.
Millipede babies
I tried to count. Looks like it was upwards of 500. Never seen this before. So it was a pleasant surprise to see this on my walk to to the tea shop.
Ayden 7th birthday
We had a small party at home. Nafisa wasn’t well on that day and the rain gods blessed the day with lots of rain and prevented us from partying outside. Lol.
The birthday cake.
Unwrapping the presents.
Irish colors for an Irish name.
Happy birthday Ayden.
Weaver bird nests pune
Clicked this when we went to Ayden’s school for Independence day celebrations. It was a pleasant surprise to see them in the middle of the city.
Deep Purple – Time For Bedlam
Deep Purple, a great band and one of THE BEST concerts I’ve ever had the privilege of attending, looks like is releasing a new album on April. Around 7th or so I think.
Here’s a lyric video to listen to until the release of the album titled InFinite. Pretty good Deep Purple.
Bye bye 2016! Hi there 2017!
Had a great 2016! Great growth and stability. A lot of possibilities. Read a lot of books. Music wise not a great year for me though – not many kick ass albums.
Ending my year at a high note.
See you all next year ;-).
Take it or Leave it – Cage the Elephant
Another super sexy song. Seems the guys must have had a lot of fun writing and doing the video – all ’70s style retro disco style – but rock guys, it’s still rock.
Love this song. Bloody thing is echoing in my head for the last 5 days now, Â even when I am asleep.
So fair warning guys!
Happy New Year 2016! Have some Chlorine & Wine!
Happy New Year and enjoy the whole year. Here’s an inspirational, blood letting, shout loud song to start you off :-).
When I called on my nursemaid
Come sit by my side
But she cuts through my ribcage
And pushes the pills deep in my eyes
The taste was much sweeter
Than chlorine and wine
And my doctor’s unable
To cut through cable that leads to my mind
In spite of the winter
There’s ways to keep warm
Whatever you give me
Please know that I’ll ask you for more
The day I stopped swimming
And came out of the tide
I’d never felt so uncomfortably numb
Here by your side
Black rose on the bed
Turn me to fire
Black rose in the vein
Shine in your eye
Please
Don’t lay me down
Under the rocks where I found
My place in the ground
A home for the fathers and sons
Black rose on the bed
Turn me to fire
Black rose in the vein
Shine in your eye
Please
Don’t lay me down
Song of the month – Drink by Alestorm
Technically this is my song of the month for September.
It is my song of the month because the band is quite refreshing and full of energy, and I really really listened to their music properly only last month.
Enjoy.
Song of the month – Apex Predator by Otep
My song of the month (not by release date). Pretty strong lyrics and powerful performance from Otep.
Enjoy!!!
